Responsible party<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We appreciate your interest in booking an appointment with the booking tool, e.g. for a test drive, a stand tour or another tour at Volkswagen AG, Berliner Ring 2, 38440 Wolfsburg, entered in the commercial register at the Braunschweig District Court under the number HRB 100484 (&#8220;Volkswagen AG&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>Below you will find information about the processing of your personal data by Volkswagen AG in connection with the appointment booking and the subsequent execution of the appointment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>B. Processing of your personal data<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I. Processing of log files <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When you visit our portal (technically a website), we process the following log files from you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IP address of your device with which you access the website<\/li>\n<li>the websites you have visited with us, and<\/li>\n<li>the website from which you visit us, and<\/li>\n<li>the date and time of your visit<\/li>\n<li>the operating system you are using, the web browser you are using and the screen resolution you have set<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The processing of this data is carried out by Avantgarde Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Kommunikation mbH, Atelierstra\u00dfe 10, 81671 Munich, in accordance with Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR. It is neces-sary to be able to display the portal to you properly and to ensure the secure operation of the portal. This data will be deleted after 30 days..<\/p>\n<p><strong>II. Booking a test drive<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When you book a test drive, we process the following personal data about you: first name, last name, e-mail address, address, mobile phone number (optional), confirmation of your age of majority and the date chosen. Before taking the test drive, you must also sign the &#8220;Declaration of Participation for a Test Drive on Public Roads&#8221; and your driver&#8217;s license and identity card will be checked by our booth personnel before starting the test drive (visual inspection).<\/p>\n<p>This collection and transmission of the data takes place within the framework of the initiation of the contract or on the basis of the contractual relationship (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) for the purpose of carrying out a test drive. The processing of your optional information is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You have the right to revoke your consent at any time and free of charge with effect for the future.<\/p>\n<p>Your personal data will be deleted 3 months after driving in Germany and 6 months after driving abroad. If an accident occurs while driving, the data will be deleted after 18 months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>III. Booking a guided stand tour<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you book another promotion, we process the following personal data from you: first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone number (optional) and the selected date in the desired language.<\/p>\n<p>This collection and transmission of data is carried out on the basis of a contractual relationship (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) for the purpose of carrying out the event campaign and ensuring eligibility for participation. Two weeks after the end of the event, the data will be deleted, unless there are other retention periods to the contrary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IV. Anonymous surveys<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You have the opportunity to voluntarily participate in an anonymous survey in the Slotbooking tool to share your feedback with us. Both the collection and the evaluation of the answers are anonymous at an aggregated level (e.g. customer types, age categories) and are used exclusively to improve our products and services. IP addresses or other personal data are not processed for this purpose. Please note that you should not enter any information in free text fields that allow conclusions to be drawn about your person.<\/p>\n<p><strong>V. Conducting competitions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of the implementation of the IAA competition of Volkswagen AG, the following personal data of the participants will be processed: first name, last name, postal address (to identify the winner), e-mail address and, optionally, telephone number (to contact you as part of the notification of the prize).<\/p>\n<p>Participation in the competition is subject to two conditions of participation, namely participation in an anonymous survey and the booking of a test drive with participating Volkswagen partners. With regard to participation in the anonymous survey as conditions, your eligibility for participation will be checked in such a way that you will only be given the opportunity to book the test drive as a further condition of participation after completion of the survey. In order to verify your eligibility to participate in relation to the fulfilment of the test drive condition, we process your personal data from the booking of the test drive (first and last name, selected Volkswagen dealer, date of test drive, selected vehicle of test drive, e-mail address, telephone number (optional)), in particular. the fact that you have booked a test drive via the form provided. After the draw, the winner will be notified by Volkswagen via one of the contact options provided. The processing of this data is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, as it is necessary for participation in and implementation of the competition.<\/p>\n<p>The data collected will be stored for the duration of the competition and its processing and then deleted, provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>VI. <\/strong><strong>Use of processors<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the aforementioned processing activities, we use processors with whom data processing agreements have been concluded in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The Avantgarde Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Kommunikation mbH (Ate-lierstra\u00dfe 10, 81671 Munich) is used as a processor for the technical operation. Driving companions are provided by D&amp;T DRIVE &amp; TRAINING AG (Ehreshoven 23, 51766 Engelskirchen).<\/p>\n<p>In order to carry out the competition, Volkswagen AG uses Volkswagen Deutschland GmbH as a processor for hosting the test drive form as part of the data collection.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C. Your rights<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can assert the following rights against VOLKSWAGEN AG at any time and free of charge. For more information on how to exercise your rights, please see the following section.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Right of access: <\/strong>You have the right to request information from us (Art. 15 GDPR) about how we process your personal data.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Right to rectification: <\/strong>You have the right to request that we correct (Art. 16 GDPR) any inac-curate or incomplete personal data concerning you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Right to erasure: <\/strong>You have the right to request the deletion of your data if the conditions set out in Art. 17 GDPR are met. For example, you can request the deletion of your data if your data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. You can also request the deletion of your data if our processing of your data is based on your consent and you withdraw this consent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Right to restriction of processing: <\/strong>You have the right to request the restriction of the pro-cessing of your data if the conditions set out in Art. 18 GDPR are met. This is the case, for example, if you dispute the accuracy of your data. You can then request the restriction of processing while the accuracy of this data is verified.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Right to object: <\/strong>If the processing is based on an overriding interest or if your data is used for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object to the processing of your data. An objection is permissible if the processing is either in the public interest or is carried out in the exercise of official authority or is based on a legitimate interest of VOLKSWAGEN AG or a third party. If you object to data processing, please tell us the reasons why you object to this data processing. You also have the right to object to data processing for direct marketing purposes. This also applies to profiling, insofar as it is related to such direct advertising.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Right to data portability: <\/strong>If the data processing is based on consent or on the performance of a contract and the processing is also carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit this data to another controller.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Right to withdraw consent: <\/strong>If the data processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time and free of charge with effect for the future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Right to lodge a complaint: <\/strong>You also have the right to lodge a complaint against our processing of your data with a supervisory authority (e.g. the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony)<\/p>\n<p><strong>D.
